Is it ok to have a small gap between the clamp and risers on my bars by small I mean 1/32"? I adjusted my handlebars and found that I couldnt close the gap afterwards. Like a dumbass I didnt check to see if they were that way before. I have a Harley Softail and the clamp is aftermarket HD. I just dont want this to lead to an issue. Thanks

Yes the gap is normal. If you're still worried torque the bolts.
The gap is there because if the gap closed then you could be left with loose bars.

always want some air between the clamps, you can shim with a coke can if its too close. but should have some air when the bars are fully tight.
