    im 20 years old. 6 foot 3 260 and this bike is just not cutting it for track.. i just have state required(liability) and the new one will be paid in full. if i got an r1 or gsxr 1000 would insurance go up much?

    i went from a 600 to a 1000 a few years ago and the premium went up only 30 dollars for liability insurance only. i was paying 280 a year on the 600 and the 1000 cost 310 a year. considering you're 260, i can totally understand why you want to move up to a liter bike. do it, it's totally worth it, especially for you. you can check the rates at progressive.com.
