I'd like to be able to listen to AM Radio, but the wind of the engine makes any any reception impossible. Do I have any options? Also, does anyone know of any wireless camera/LCD setup for a motorcycle. I'd like to mount a camera in back and put an LCD screen a small one, up front.

You will have to install speakers in your helmet. These are available everywhere.

    As far as a rear view camer/scrren, here's one for < $100.

Am radio not Sure, Mp3 or mp4 could work sometimes can even adpt to wirelss headset. I have a rear veiw cam, but at high speed its useless,, the delay makes it very dangerous, you still have to look in your blind spots. The cam is only good for show, and to check out hotties and COPS behind you!

The low tech, low budget way is to use ear buds from an iPod or MP3 player. The problem is comfort under your helmet. Anything not form fitted to the shape of the inside of your ear literally becomes painfully irritating in a surprising short amount of time. And on longer trips, the longer the duration, the more the discomfort.

Form fitted transducer equipped ear plugs solved this comfort problem - available from multiple sources, like:

    http://www.earinc.com/

BUT! You still have to deal with those dangling wires. And most iPod type wires are pretty fragile, and break or damage easily, not to mention being a damned nuisance.

And better way is the touring bikers approach with helmet mounted headsets:

    www.jmcorp.com

The newest thing out there is wireless helmet audio and 2-way radio systems based on Bluetooth technology, such as those offered by Nolan helmets. Bluetooth based helmet applications are still very new and not all of the bugs have been worked out yet. Moreover, until Bluetooth evolves to a higher level of capability, Bluetooth itself has distinct limits as to just what it can do for motorcycle applications.

    http://www.jmcorp.com/Static/blue_cord.htm

It is just recently moved from mono to stereo capability that people will accept. And Nolan's 2-way capability is currently really intended for on-bike wireless rider / passenger intercom, and extremely short range bike to bike communications (20 feet).

So I recommend wired helmet systems like those available from J&M, Sierra Electronics, AutoCom (England), or Baehr (Germany).

    Good luck! :-)
