    test everything,
    listen to how it runs
test the brakes, clutch the choke'
ride it for a while and if its okay then no problem

For future reference always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
Sometimes the year can make a difference.

When you say "cord", do you mean an electrical wire? - plug it back in.
Do you mean it's part of the carb?
The cord is out of the carb?
    Your question doesn't make sense.
